Duration: 3 weeks (with potential for extension)
Location: Southern Maine, Hospital Environment
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialists to join our team on a temporary basis to support the Go-Live phase of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation project in a hospital setting located in Southern Maine. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth transition and adoption of the new EMR system by providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users during the implementation period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support to hospital staff during the Go-Live phase of the EMR implementation.
- Assist end-users with system navigation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to the EMR software.
- Collaborate with the EMR implementation team and hospital staff to identify and escalate technical issues as needed.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on utilizing the EMR system effectively.
- Document and maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations throughout the implementation process.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of the implementation and address any concerns or issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of computer networking
- Experience in IT support and desktop support
- Familiarity with VPN and Firewall technologies
- Expertise in software troubleshooting
- Ability to work with Mac OS
- Prior experience in providing customer service
- Understanding of computer hardware configurations
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
